peter brötzmann created brö records in 1967 to release for adolphe sax (brö-1), & (in 1968) machine gun (brö-2), his 1st records as a leader.  brötzmann silkscreened the jackets & hand-assembled the records himself.  in 2002 brötzmann joined with eremite to revive brö as an outlet for special editions of his work.  brö continues to use the same small-scale artisan production methods as it did in the beginning to realize new projects.
